Bible Wednesday 6/14: Stop, Look, Listen

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 107:1-43. Verse 2, what person especially needs to hear my testimony today, about how God has redeemed me out of Satan’s hand and into Christ’s family?

Leviticus 24:1-23. Verses 2-4, spiritually understood, what is the perpetual flame that God commands me to keep ever burning in my heart?

Acts 7:23-36. Stephen relates how God gradually molded Moses. How has God molded me over the years? Is there evidence that process is still going on?

Mark 1:12-20. Related, verse 17, how is Jesus training and developing me into a fisher of men? What is the next “exam” that he is preparing me for?
