Bible Tuesday 7/4: Interruptible

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 16:1-11. Verse 8, set the Lord always before me. By what attitudes and actions shall I go about doing this today? What may be the results?

Numbers 17:1-13. God confirms Aaron’s priesthood by a miracle. When have I seen dissension or murmuring in a church body? How was it rectified?

Acts 13:26-41. Paul’s sermon in Pisidia concludes. Who needs to hear from me today or one day soon, this word of salvation (verse 26) through Jesus Christ crucified and risen?

Mark 5:21-43. Jesus unhurriedly heals first the bleeding woman, then the dying girl. How can I become more interruptible today, always ready to defer my personal priorities for Christ’s kingdom priorities?
