Bible Saturday 9/30: Cast Out Doubt

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 78:1-40. Verses 19 and 20, is there a situation I’m now facing where I tend to doubt if God is willing and able to meet my need? How can I approach that today not with fear but with faith?

I Chronicles 6::1-81. More about Israel’s patriarchal families. Why is the spirit of this world so set on destroying the God-ordained traditional family? What’s to be done?

Galatians 4:1-11. Verse 6, how will today be different if I am meek and childlike enough to cry out to God as “Abba, Father”?

Luke 11:14-23. What is Satan’s main point of attack upon me and mine these days? What would it look like for Jesus to disarm, defeat, and despoil him?
