Bible Monday 11/25: Quiet Confidence

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 69:1-36. Verse 9, what would it look like if I had more zeal for God? What attitudes and actions on my part would express that?

Isaiah 30:1-33. Verse 15, God offers me returning and rest, quietness and confidence. If I accept it today, how will my life change?

Revelation 9:1-12. Monstrous locusts swarm out of the bottomless pit. Verse 4, for protection, how can I obtain the seal of God in my forehead?

Luke 22:14-23. Do I take the Eucharist, the Lord’s supper, as seriously as Jesus intends me to? What’s at stake?
