Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 68:1-35. Verses 5, 6, what family do I know of that is in crisis right now, and for whom I can pray God comes to their aid today?
Isaiah 29:1-24. Verse 15, when have I tried to hide something from God? What damage was done? Present application?
Revelation 8:1-13. Verses 3-5, how can I benefit today from the prayers of the saints?
Luke 22:7-13. Detailed arrangements made by Jesus for the Last Supper. What looms large for me in the near future, for which Jesus has already prearranged everything, if I’m humble and trusting enough to see it?
