Bible Monday 2/24: This is the Heir

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 132:1-18. David vows to subordinate himself and put God first. What would that look like in my life today?

Hosea 5:1-15.-Verse 15, in their affliction they shall seek me. When have I learned the hard way that life is bleak without God? Who needs my help in learning that lesson right now?

Romans 7:1-6. When this day is over, will it be a day when I was fruitful for sin and death, for the flesh, or fruitful for God?

Matthew 21:33-46. Why is the worldly mind so desperate to be rid of God’s son, Jesus? What is my church doing to counter that? My role?
