Bible Wednesday 3/19: Witnesses Wanted

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 45:1-17. Verse 7, how can I conduct myself today as someone who loves righteousness and hates wickedness in the way Jesus did, but without showing off or putting anyone down?

Proverbs 14:1-35. Verse 25, related, a true witness delivers souls. What is that witness’s message? Is it all Bible verses and God-talk? How can I win souls and yet fit in?

Romans 15:14-21. Paul’s integrity and intensity as minister of the gospel. How can I Imitate him today?

Matthew 13:.36-43. When Jesus looks at me, my family, my friends and neighbors, does he see children of the kingdom, children of the wicked one, or some of each?
