Bible Saturday 3/29: Fool's Gold

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 66:1-20. Verse 16, declare what God has done for my soul. Who needs to hear about this from me today? How can I make it simple, winsome, and persuasive?

Proverbs 24:1-34. Verses 3-5, what specifically is the God-given wisdom by which I and my family are building our house? What needs strengthening right now?

I Corinthians 3:18-4:5. What is the false wisdom, the worldly counterfeit, that Jesus warns me away from? What’s expected of me as a steward of the mysteries of God?

Matthew 20:29-34. Who is on my heart today—needing the same healing touch from Jesus that gave sight to the two blind men?
