Bible Sunday 3/26: The River

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 46:1-11. Today how can the image of a river (verse 4) help me experience God's love and truth, his sufficiency and constancy?

Ecclesiastes 7:1-29. What are some of the inventions (verse 29) by which I have distanced myself from God in the past or perhaps even now?  Action point?

Galatians 2:1-10. When has God helped me resolve a clash with fellow Christians, to the benefit of the gospel, as Paul resolved his clash with Peter?

Matthew 19:13-22. As Jesus sees it, what is our culture in general, and the church in particular, doing right and wrong for children?  Action point for me today?
