Bible Thursday 10/17: Growing Up

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 18:1-50. Verse 19 KJV, into a large place. What limits, barriers, or obstacles does God remove from around me? What can I now do in his name, that I couldn’t do before?

I Chronicles 22:1-19. How David made ready for Solomon to build the temple. What’s my spiritual inheritance from family or mentors, with which to glorify God? Action point?

Ephesians 4:7-16. Maturing spiritually, measuring up in Christ. How am I doing? Points of growth I’ve achieved? Points of growth still to work on? First step?

Luke 11:37-54. Verse 52 KJV, key of knowledge. What is Jesus talking about? Does my church use this key and share it? Do I? Action point?
