Bible Friday 10/16: Little Flock

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 115:1-18. Verse 12 KJV, because I know God is mindful of me, what large and small details of my day can I trust are known to him and in his care?

Nehemiah 3:1-32. Tally of the Jews’ work assignments for rebuilding the wall. In God’s eyes, as best I can tell, what’s my specially assigned role in erecting his kingdom?

Galatians 4:12-20. Verse 19, whom have I to thank for making great efforts, as if laboring in birth, to further my growth in Christ?

Luke 12:22-34. Verse 28, what have I been worried or anxious about lately, that would cause Jesus to call me a person of little faith? How shall I seek the kingdom more ardently, still using common sense?
