Bible Tuesday 10/12: Watch This

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 68:1-35. Verses 5 and 6, for what person or family, currently facing struggle and sorrow, shall I pray this tender assurance from the Lord today?

I Chronicles 19:1-19. David’s hand of friendship scorned by the Ammonites. Why does the worldly mind at all times and places so bitterly hate God and God’s people?

Ephesians 4:1-16. Verse 15, speaking the truth in love. Which half of this do I most need to work on? Where shall I start practicing it today?

Luke 13:10-21. When have I seen the transformative power of God’s tiny seed, God’s bit of leaven? Where do I hope to see it again soon? Prayer point?
