Bible Tuesday 11/16: Lord's Supper

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 42:1-11. Verse 8, close to God day and night. What are the marks of a 24/7 disciple of Jesus Christ? How do I measure up?

II Chronicles 25:1-28. King Amaziah’s misdeeds and downfall. Verse 2, when have I given God outward but not inward obedience and paid the price?

Revelation 4:1-11. Verse 10, casting crowns. What would it look like for me to willingly put off the defining feature of my identity and selfhood, and place it sacrificially before God’s throne?

Luke 22:14-23. How would I explain the theology of the Lord’s Supper to a teenager seeking God? Why does it matter?
