Bible Monday 11/15: The Knock

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 39:1-13. Verses 1-3, What specific help do I need from God today in disciplining the things I say, aloud or in writing?

II Chronicles 24:1-27. King Joash begins well but ends badly. Where in my Christian walk do I particularly need staying power and perseverance right now?

Revelation 3:14-22. Verse 20, whom do I know that may be ready to open the door and let Jesus in, today or one day soon? How can I help with that?

Luke 22:1-13. Verse 10, the man carrying water. What issue in my life have I been treating as too detailed or obscure for Jesus to bother with? Why would l withhold from him anything, anything at all?
