Bible Thursday 10/13: Under His Eye

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 107:1-43. Verses 17-20, when have I been a fool, suffered for it, and been rescued by God even so? Present application?

Ezra 10:1-44. Names of leading Jews who made a hard choice between honoring God or clinging to their heathen wives and children. What hard choice have I ever made for God? What may await me?

Colossians 2:1-23. Verses 4, 8, 16, 18 KJV, Paul warns the believers against worldly deceivers seeking to beguile, spoil, or misjudge them. In what form will these deceptions be leveled at me today?

Luke 12:1-12. Verse 7, how are my worries, fears, hurts, hopes, and sins put in a new perspective by realizing that God has numbered the very hairs of my head?
