Bible Thursday 10/20: No One Excluded

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:129-176. Verses 139, 141, 153, 176, the worldly are prone to forget God, but the godly are determined not to. Today how shall I counteract that tendency to be spiritually forgetful?

Nehemiah 7:1-73. Honor roll of the families who returned from Babylon to Jerusalem. If my family could earn honorable mention when the history of our times is written, what would I hope is said of us?

Galatians 3:15-29. Verse 28, the inclusiveness of Christ’s salvation; similar to the adage that the ground is level at the foot of the cross. How can my church more fully put this into practice? My role?

Luke 13:10-17. Eighteen years of Satan’s bondage swept away by one second of Jesus’ liberation. Where do I need to see His mastery of all things brought out in my life right now?
