Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 81:1-16. Verses 11-13, refusal to hear God’s voice. Have I in any way been doing this lately? Action point?
Isaiah 37:1-38. Verses 31 and 32, how can I qualify to be part of the faithful remnant that God will use to advance his purposes in these troubled times? If chosen, what will be expected of me?
Revelation 12:7-12. War in heaven, Satan defeated. Verse 11, how can I overcome through the blood of the Lamb—today?
Luke 22:24-30. How can I model myself more upon Jesus today, showing up for others as someone who’s here to serve?
