Bible Friday 4/14: Made Alive

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 106:1-48. Verses 7, 13, 21, when have I recently forgotten God, what he does for me and what he expects of me? How can I make it right with him?

Exodus 6:1-30. Moses’ self-doubt persists. Is there a duty God has laid upon me, that seems utterly beyond my capability to fulfill?

I Corinthians 15:20-34. Verse 22, what sins and deficiencies do I see in my Adam nature, that I can ask Christ to replace with his nature day by day?

John 20:1-10. Mary, Peter, and John all running in search of Jesus. How much urgency in getting near the risen Lord will I display today? What may present itself to me as being (absurdly) more urgent?
