Bible Tuesday 5/30: One Church?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 74:1-23. Verses 12-16, what figurative barrier of water do I need to have God part for me today? What menacing dragon do I need to have him slay? Do I doubt he can do it?

Leviticus 9:1-24. Verses 22 and 23, having observed Aaron the priest for many weeks in Exodus and Leviticus, what can I learn from him about how to serve God? Application for today?

Acts 2:36-47. Verse 42, four key practices of the early church. Which of them comes most naturally for me? The least? Action point?

John 17:20-26. Jesus prays for the oneness of all who believe in him, which seems impossibly remote from Christianity in the 21st century. How can I do my part, inside the walls of my church and outside them?
