Bible Wednesday 5/31: Something Even Better

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 75:1-10. Verses 6 and 7, God’s perfect placement of all persons where they can best serve. For what position, public or private, am I concerned right now? Can I trust Him with this?

Leviticus 10:1-20. Two of Aaron’s sons die at their posts, two more incur severe rebuke from Moses. How am I susceptible to the grave danger of being careless with the holiest things of God?

Acts 3:1-10. What more could my church be doing to open its arms to persons with every kind of need, spiritual and material? My role?

John 4:1-14. When have I had a conversation somewhat like this, sharing Christ with someone spiritually thirsty? Is it time for another one? How shall I prepare and begin?
