Bible Thursday 2/27: Hungry for Righteousness

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 140:1-13. Verse 5, what are some snares and traps the enemy will hide in my path today? How can I obtain God’s protection from these?

Hosea 8:1-14. Verse 12, God has written great things to his people, but Israel discounted them. What are the consequences humankind is having to endure as a result of ignoring God’s word in the Bible?

Romans 8:1-11. How can I be more spiritually minded and less fleshly minded every hour today, really every minute?

Matthew 5:1-12. Who do I know personally that exemplfies hungering and thirsting for righteousness? What would it look like if I had more of that hunger and thirst in my way of life?
