Bible Monday 4/21: Appointment in Galilee

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 105:1-45. Verse 19, God’s word tried him. In what way right now does it feel as though the word of the Lord ia putting me on trial, testing me? What’s at stake? Am I praying to prevail?

Exodus 2:1-25. Related, when have I, like Moses, impulsively used the wrong means to achieve the right goal (serve God by serving his people)? What was the cost? Application to present needs?

Matthew 28:1-10. How is everything different for me as a result of Jesus rising from the dead? What specific situation in my life is most in need of resurrection power today?

Matthew 28:11-20. Verses 19 and 20, the Great Commission for us as followers of Jesus to proclaim his gospel everywhere. If I set out to take my compliance up a notch, what would that realistically look like?
